Cannot find the network - wired or wireless
I cannot find any connections on my computer. I cannot find a wireless network or a wired one. Any suggestions? It is an old IBM T40. It worked fine until my son got a hold of it. Now I cannot access the internet.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello louie, cick on start "run" and then type ncpa.cpl. check if you find any network controller. If you are able to view network controller then check the TCP/IP settings. if you do not find anything in "NCPA.cpl" then open the Device Manager". to open device manager follow the below mentioned steps, Click on Start -- then click on "run" -- type "sysdm.cpl" -- click on "Hardware" -- click on "Device Manager" -- and check whether Network Adapters showing in "Yellow color" or anything showing in yellow color in device manger. If you find yellow (warning) alert then it means that some of the hardware drivers are missing. you have to install it from the laptop drive Cd. Zulfikar
