Cannot find path for Bluetooth Support Service (so bluetooth doesn't work)
Hi all, trying to get a BT mouse working here. When I open Devices and Printers it takes forever to load the green bar and never ends. So I look into Services and the BT Support Service is disabled. When I try to set it to Manual or Auto, it says it can't find it.

Hi, It seems that the service is corrupted. I suggest using SFC as below: Use the System File Checker (SFC) =========================== 1. Click Start, type "cmd" (without the quote) in the Start Search bar, right-click cmd.exe and click run as administrator. 2. Input the following command and press Enter. sfc /scannow If the issue persists, I have upload a 32-bit Bluetooth Support Service registry key here. You can download and try to import to your computer. Before importing, please backup registry as below: Backup Registry =================== 1. Click Start, type REGEDIT in the Start Search bar and press Enter. 2. Select Computer (the root node) in the left pane, click Export under the File menu, choose All under Export range, select Desktop in the Save in box and type backup in File Name. click Save. Please Note: The backup file is on the Desktop and named backup.reg. We can simply restore the registry by double-clicking the backup.reg file. If the issue persists, please test it in Clean Boot mode.Good Luck.Vivian Xing - MSFT

Aw man, I can't believe I missed your reply. Can you re-upload the registry key(s) for me? Google didn't turn up any other download link than yours :( I've now got a mouse and headset awaiting connection to a UMPC.

Thanks! Gonna stick it on the UMPC. Crossing my fingers. Good to see someone else who's online often and responds quickly. (I'm more known on Overclock.net as Adrienspawn and also help people out there, but I'm more of a hardware guy)
