I'm using a laptop and also using the ethernet cable connected to my wireless router. I cant finda selection or a local wireless connection on my computer. How do you connect your computer to the internet.

youll have to manually setup a connection in "Network and Internet" > "Manage Wireless Neteworks" THEN click "add "Then fill in the settings and close. When done if needed add your additional security settings by right-clicking the network you just made and click "Properties"I had to do this bc of the type of security settings I had IE "shared" as a secondary setting. I have since changed this to TKIP/2 as its more secure and faster. Now I no longer have to go thru the above. Hope this helps you! zero061099
