Cannot enter alpha characters - I found this out when I was trying to enter my name for purposes of filling out billing information. The laptop is not allowing me to type alpha characters. I might have hit a key by accident. __

It sounds like your Numlock is on. Refer to your laptop manual for how to toggle Numlock on/off since the method differs by make/model.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
