Cannot delete a file In Windows 7
I recently upgraded my computer from windows vista to windows 7. Anyway, I just installed and removed a registry cleaner called Free Windows Registry Repair from C-Net. I found Glary Registry Cleaner from one of these forums and liked it better so I deleted the other one. Well, I was looking in my program files and found a file left over by the Free Windows Registry Repair program and when I try to delete it, it says that I need administrator permission. I went in to properties and changed the permissions so that all of the settings were at full control on all users even though I am the only one but it still said that I did not have permission to delete the file even after a reboot. Can somebody please help, I do not know what to do, I have tried everything that I can think of.

As I see, you use a registry cleaner. This is not recommanded and may cause severe problems. The best way to proceed is to restore your system state using a restore point that dates before the install of this cleaner. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Even if you solved it, you should proceed like I mentioned to avoid possible negative impact on your computer due to the use of such cleaner.
