Cannot delete a disk partition, help!
Hello, I'm trying to delete my old partition of Ubuntu, 292GB of which is free space now.. But everytime I click on 'Delete Partition...' it says: 'There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation.' I'd really like to extend C:\ with the 292GB of free space.. PC Info you might want to know: Acer Aspire 5560G AMD Quad-Core Processor A6-3400M with Turbo CORE Technology up to 2.30 GHz 8GB DDR3 Memory Installed 750GB HDD I hope I receive a reply soon. Kind Regards

When a partition is deleted it returns to Unallocated for a Primary Partition or Free Space if it‘s a Logical Drive within an Extended Partition. You used the phrase ‘Free Space’, so you need to remove the Logical Drive and then the Extended Partition before you have Unallocated space that can be added to drive C. Also, the space has to be immediately to the right of drive C in the Disk Management graphic in order that it can be added to C.
