Cannot connect with a wireless Modem/Router
I have 4 Wireless Modem/Routers (NetgearDG834GSP) (Netgear DG834GU) (D-Link G604T) and a Netgear DGN2000. I also have a Billion Bipac 7300 (non wireless). I have been trying all the Wireless ones to see which is the better one to connect to a Wireless Access Point That will be connected to my Beyonwiz PVR in the Lounge room, ( PC is in a different room ). With all the swapping around ( different IP's for Different Modems ) i have somehow managed to not be able to connect to the Internet or access the modems on any of the wireless modems, I can connect fine with the wired Billion. The netgears use an IP of "10.1.1.1" (except the DGN2000, which is "192.168.0.1" and the D-Link is "192.168.1.1). I have reset them all to factory default but still cannot access them to re-enter my details. I'm guessing it has something to do with the IPV4 protocol, because when i connect one of the Netgear (10.1.1.1) and do a cmd >>> ipconfig /all it shows a preffered IP in the 192 range ( should be in the 10.1.1.x range ). I also tried doing a ipconnfig /renew but it comes up with an error saying that it cannot renew because the the network is not connected. any help in resolving this will be Greatly Appreciated. CheersWho cares who wins
