Hi Today for some reason I cannot connect to our small business network. I have never had this problem before. I can see the other computers within the network but when I try to log onto the "main" computer it will not accept the password. The one I cannot connect on is running on Windows 7 Home Premium, the one I cannot connect to Windows 2000 Professional. One other computer is Windows 2000 and the other 2 are Windows XP. I can connect to the others but not the "main" most important one. All of the other computers have NO connection issues with the "main" computer. Once I initially set up the Windows 7 computer I have never had any issues until today. Help!!!!

Hi Photoshop123, 1. Have you recently done any changes to the Windows 7 computer like hardware or software updates?2. Are you on a domain (server connected network)?It might be a username or password issue. Can you check using any other account?You may use the network troubleshooter on the Windows 7 computer and check if it lists any issues. Hi Megmala, As far as I know there has not been any hardware or software updates unless it was a Windows update. I am connected to a domain, all of our computers are under the same workgroup. I can connect to other computers using their username and password with no problems. I just cannot connect to our main computer which is where I backup important files onto. I have used the troubleshooter many times and nothing is helpful. I even had an IT friend try to figure things out remotely with no avail. It is very frustrating since I have never had this happen before. I have always stayed connected until yesterday. I have put in the correct password and username and it just keeps telling me that it is incorrect. :(
