Cannot connect to Tritton Wired NAS with Vista Premium
I installed a clean version of Windows Vista Premium. Now, I cannot connect to my Tritton Wired NAS device - either by double clicking on it in the network explorer or by trying to connect to the device via the NAS' default management IP. Previously, I had no problems accessing the NAS when I was running Windows XP Pro SP2. I've read various threads for other NAS' talking about changing security settings which I have tried (NTLM, etc) but none of them seem to work. I cannot even connect to the NAS to upgrade the firmware since I need to be logged into the NAS to important the new software. Any thoughts?

I was able to track down a solution to this problem - hopefully this will help others. Apparently Vista has a new networkAuto-Tuning feature that is used to optimize broadband network connectivity...however, it might cause some local network issues. I friend of mine showed me the following link which cleared the SAN connection problem up for me: http://keznews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=32220&sid=9f8d7e5447ae70b49282ccf2ed79d8d0 Here is the actual command I had to run from the command prompt un administrator mode: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled I had already changed the NTLM settings I referred to above so it is possible that both need to be configured in order for this to work. Please let me know if this helped anyone else out.

Thanks a lot! This solved my problem. I had also changed the LAN Manager Authentication level, but your tip actually fixed my problem.
