Have searched and did not locate a good answer for this. I am having issues connecting to FTP sites. I am using WS_FTP Pro for file management and Windows Firewall is set with the program as an exception. When Windows Firewall is turned on, WS_FTP Pro is able to connect and return a successful port command, but then has an error reading the response from the server. If I turn off Windows Firewall, the full connection is made and I can access the site. Attempts to connect through IE 8 fail whether the firewall is turned on or not. With network diagnostics returning error 12003 (The server returned extended information) for passive and error 12031 (the connection with the server was reset) for active. IE8 is currently set to allow Passive FTP. What can I do to correct this issue?1 person needs an answerI do too
