Cannot communicate with primary dns server.... Please help
Hi everyone, really need some help. I'm not very good with computers and this is totally confusing me! I have an issue with my girlfriend's Compaq Presario A900. We have recently had a new Wireless router and the laptop was working fine going online then one day it wouldn't connect. The laptop is connecting to the router although it is showing as an unidentified network and access as local only. All other PC's and laptops in the house are connecting fine and using the internet. I have see this question asked on other forums but as i mentioned i'm not very tech savvy and i can't seem to get anything to work. Below is the info from the laptop, hopefully you guys can hope. Hi, Settings seems OK. At this point, you can run the troubleshooting tool to automatically detect the root cause. Please click Start, type troubleshooting and press Enter. Click "Connect to the Internet" under the "Network and Internet" section. Please tell us the result.
