I have Windows XP operating system. I just tried to change users and I cannot. I tried the same path as always (and the one descibed in the Help section),but it does not work. When I click on Log off, the entire system shuts down. I am then logged off, but I do not get the icon to change users.

Hi kirkbuckeye, Thank you for taking the time to post. Did this just happen recently? If so you can try System Restore to a time you know it was working. Do you get any kind of messages when you boot up? Try the following: Open Control Panel Open Users Make sure Enable fast user switching is enabled Also check here: Click the Start button In the Run box type services.msc Make sure Fast User Switching Compatibility is enable and set to Auto Make sure Secondary Logon is set to Auto as well Please let us know.
