Hi everyone! My ssd where I had search indexes crashed and now I cannot change location for indexes. When I go to Indexing Options\Location\Advanced button "Select new" is disabled. How can I bring my indices back to live?

Hi, The issue could be related to Windows Search service. Go to check it first. Check Windows Search service ---------------------------------------- 1. Click Start, type services in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click Windows Search. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic (Delayed Start), click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. 4. Restart the computer. If any error is received when trying to start the service, please let me know. If the issue persists, click Rebuild button or Troubleshoot search and indexing. Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
