Cannot boot into safe mode (F8) for Windows XP ( I have XP and 7)
My PC has 2 OS, Windows XP and 7. I just installed a new video card, and in order to use it, I need to chose Boot with Low Resolution (800 x 600 ) from F8 of Windows XP.But with dual OS, I can only use F8 safe mode for windows 7, there is no option for XP. Can anyone help me?I cannot start Windows XP normally neither because I need to enter Boot with Low Resolution first.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi NickNguyen, Before the recovery options (When you press F8) you would get the option to select the operating system.Select the operating system and then check. If you are not receiving the option to select the operating system, then you may check the below settings:a. Open System by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.b. Click Advanced System Settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.c. Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.d. Place a check mark beside “Time to display list of operating system”e. And increase the time limit If still the options are not displayed, then change the default operating system to Windows XP:a. Open System by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System.b. Click Advanced System Settings.
