Cannot access specific websites at home while I can everywhere else!
No this is not the problem of pc or laptop , the possibility is due to firewall from your ISP which is blocking the website to access.Did you tried to ping the website try to set a open DNS manually for Primary and secondary DNS eg 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 in your modem/router.Hope this will doBest of LuckSohail Khan

Thank you Sohail for your suggestions. I was experiencing the same issue of not being able to access my own website but I was able to access other websites without any issues. I had a Request Time Out and the ping was unsuccessful to the URL and to the IP, so I was able to determine that it wasn't a DNS resolution issue. I did a tracert command from the command lie to the URL and to the IP and the same hop #17 the request timed out. It made it out to the server that my website was hosted but didn't come back. I spent two days with McAfee to properly suspend all the McAfee processes and eliminate that as the problem. I called my ISP initially and they denied it was on their end. There are two other computers in our home that was able to access the website without a problem. However, I have a separate DSL line, separate modem and router, etc. I had tried to flush my DNS cache, still no success. I had set my XP security settings to not block my website's URL. I previously had issues with my ISP blocking emails and spam filters blocking my emails when they denied it was them. So I called my ISP back and got Tier 2 who assisted me in resetting my Primary and Secondary DNS and still no luck. We found success when we disconnected my modem and got a new static IP address for my computer. I sent screenshots to them of the before and after on all my DNS settings and my trace route before and after. The tech guys will need to resolve the issues with the bad IP. I hope that this helps someone else that encounters this issue. Not even a week before I had to reformat my drive due to the Anti-Virus 2010 trojan on my computer, so I was pretty confident that it wasn't isolated to my computer, although the initial Tech Support in Tier 1 tried to implicate that.
