Cannot access drive that was encrypted using Windows 7 bitlocker
Hello, I was using the bitlocker feature in windows 7. Recently, I had to reimage my laptop. I forgot that bitlocket was on for a hard drive partition and I reimaged my laptop. Now after reimaging, the drive that was encrypted using bitlocker is not seen in My Computer. However, if I go to Disk Management in Administrative Tools, I can see the partition but I am not able to access it even from there. I request you to please help me in accessing the drive as it contains all my inportant data.

Hi Sophie, Thank you for the response and apologies for the delayed response. I am afraid to say that the solution you have provided does not work for me because I first formatted my C drive and then reimaged using the backup image disk I had created long back. This affected drive is not accessible in windows 7 and in windows XP it shows up as an unpartitioned space in Disk Management. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
