Cannot access Secondary partition after reinstalling windows.
I have partitions on my laptop C and D. I had encrypted drive D with bitlocker. My windows 7 got corrupted and had to format the C drive. After installing fresh windows 7, I cannot access the D drive. I get a message "Access denied". Any help would be highly appreciated.

Ouch - that sounds bad. You're going to need to try and remove Bitlocker from D:, and to do that you'll need the Bitlocker recovery key, which (hopefully) you either wrote down, printed off or otherwise saved when you first enabled Bitlocker on the old C: partition. Do you have access to the recovery key?

Hi, Based on the current situation, you need to use the BitLocker Repair Tool to Recover a Drive http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee523219(WS.10).aspx If the issue persists, you can try the following commands. manage-bde C: -unlock –pw and type your password to unlock the drive.
