Cannot Log On to Windows 7
Hey, I'm using an ASUS G72-GX laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and whenever I turn on my computer, the little windows light logo comes up, but when it's supposed to go to the login screen the screen stays black. A mouse cursor shows up, but nothing else does. I can even use the built in ASUS web browser, so I know it's not an issue with the screen being hooked up. The computer was working just fine 8 hours ago, I was playing games on it in physics (don't judge). Any solutions? I've tried running in safe mode, I've looked in the BIOS to see if anything's wrong, I tried running it in last good configuration, nada.

Hi, According to the content of your posts, you have tried run Windows 7 in safe mode. I want to know the result for this. If you can run the safe mode , please try to restore the system with an earlier point. If the safe mode failed, I think your machine need “System Recovery”. You can consult the information for the system restore: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/668-system-recovery-options.html http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html
