Cannot Link Microsoft Account to my Domain Account

Hello I was directed to this site after asking this question:

http answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-files/cannot-link-microsoft-account-to-my-domain-account/f4fd26f0-880e-4195-b168-d2524a64fa43?tm=1422770284864

As Follows:

I had my Microsoft Account linked to my domain account and everything was fine. Something happened that corrupted my account and Internet Explorer could no longer download anything. All the help suggestions indicated to remove the account and re-create it. I did remove the account but I did it the wrong way (deleted everything instead of following process). Eventually I was able to remove the account, delete the domain account and then re-create the domain account. Now I am trying to re-link my Microsoft account and I keep getting the following Error:

"We're sorry but something went wrong. Your Microsoft Account wasn't connected to this domain account. Code 0x80048004e".

This has become a real problem because I keep my important files on my OneDrive. Any help would be excellent. Thanks.

Hi,

First of all, you can access to Onedrive.live.com to remove the trusted PC for test.

If no use, access to Account.live.come, then choose Manage advanced security, remove all trusted device.

After that, try to attach the account again for test.

Thank you for your reply,

The links in your post did not work for me. I was however able to find the link Manage Advanced Security and removed all trusted devices. I rebooted my computer and attempted to recreate the link to my Microsoft Account but I still receive the error noted above.

Thanks!

Hmmm... Now when I try to log into the Microsoft Community site I get an error:

http://answers.microsoft.com/

Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later. "

What a mess!

I also can no longer open many of the Microsoft sites and my OneDrive app on my passport can't log in. I keep receiving login errors.

Update:

PC - Can use live account for this site (TechNet), outlook.com/onedrive.live.com but not http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us (Login error: "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

Passport - can access http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us but OneDrive app fails to login (Login Error: "An Error Occured. Please try again later"). Email seems to work fine.

Well this is great. My Live account is buggered and nobody has any idea what to do. I can't do anything about it because it's some issue with Microsoft services somewhere. Can you even suggest a better forum for this? Can't anyone at Microsoft help me???

You might need to try Microsoft Live ID support: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows-live/id-support

Or contact Microsoft customer support directly: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/contact-support
