Cannot Access Internet after Installing Windows 7 RC
Hey. I recently did a clean install of the Windows 7 RC and for some reason, I cannot automatically connect to the internet. I am using an always on broadband connection. I tried taking the internet cord out of the back of my computer then re-inserting it, but that does not fix the problem. The weird thing is, I am triple-booting with Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux (which after installing Windows 7 on a separate partition like the other operating systems, I cannot access Linux because the GRUB Boot Loader does not show up, it just shows up the Windows Boot Options), and Windows XP works fine, and I can still access the internet on it, but for some reason, I cannot access it on Windows 7. I have no idea what is wrong. Please help. Cheers! --Chris.

EDIT: I found the problem and I was able to utilise and solve it, and fix it. I now have Internet access. The problem was that I hadn't updated my DNS settings for Windows 7. In XP, I don't use the Obtain DNS automatically, I use my own, manual settings. I just had not applied them to Windows 7 yet.
