Cancelled language pack update no longer available for install
Hi, I wanted to install the Hungarian language pack for Windows 7 64 bit yesterday. Everything went fine until the install was cancelled by a user before it could finish. No big deal, I thought I could restart the install today. Well I go to Windows Update and it says that Windows is up to date. I go to install history and it shows the Hungarian Language Pack as cancelled but there seems to be no way to restart the installation. I also cannot find a manual download that isn't a torrent from some shady site so how do I restore this update in Windows Update? Thanks.

If you right click the language pack do you have the option to uninstall? If so just uninstall and then from their it it will show up as an update.

Hi Octomom, Can you check if the Language Pack listed in Installed Updates or Programs and Features? If so, please try to uninstall it and try to run Windows Update again. Hope it helps.

generic and Robinson, I should have put that in my original post. No, it does not appear in the installed updates area so I can't uninstall it. However, after another reboot, the language pack seems to be on the computer. I can switch to Hungarian now but it still doesn't appear in the installed updates area or in the available updates. Thanks for trying to help though, guys. I guess I got lucky and it worked itself out somehow, still weird though IMO.
