Can you exit Microsoft Outlook 2007 once an email is scheduled for a later date/time?
I am trying to schedule an email for a later time this coming weekend to go out to a few users in the company. When I schedule a test email to go out during work hours it works fine, AS long as I still have Outlook 2007 up. But, when I attempt to schedule an email and try to close out of outlook it does not work. Comes up with the following msg: "There are unsent messages in your Outbox. To send messages, Outlook must remain running and connected to your email server. Do you want to exit anyway?"Is there any way around this? 1 person needs an answerI do too

The simple answer would be "no". Outlook can only process commands which you initiate while the program is running. If you schedule an email to deliver at a later time but close Outlook it will remain in the outbox/drafts folder, if you open Outlook again after the time you selected for it to deliver it will send the message. Can you leave your outlook client open over the weekend so that the message gets sent when you want it to? Max
