Can you Disable the Disconnect button in Wireless Network Center?
Due to management needs, I want to disable the 'disconnect' button that shows up when you highlight an active wireless connection. The laptops are set up to autoconnect to the managed network when in range and I need to prevent users from disconnecting.

I don't know of a way to force a connection. Most laptops have a physical switch that any user could use to disable wireless altogether. This would trump anything you do with software. You could use group policy to deny them a connection to any networks other than yours. You can survey the area to see what SSIDs there are then deny all except yours. You would have to do periodic surveys looking for new networks. It could become a management headache. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.04.cableguy.aspx Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience
