Can the HomeGroup network session be suspended temporarily?
I have a small homegroup at home that I connect my domain conected laptop to when I bring it home.
The laptop is a member of the homegroup and it is working OK.
The problem comes when I want to do administrative work on the other home group computers from my laptop. I can't login as a local admin and get to their hidden shares becasue the homegroup session is already active. Is there a way to suspend the homegroup
connection while I log into another machine as an admin?

You need to leave the homegroup to achieve this. For more information, please refer to:

Thanks.
I was hoping for some variant of the "net" command that I could script to switch contexts .
