Can only see up to 13 files or directories in Windows 7 shared folder from Mac OS X Leopard
I have been stumped by this problem for quite a while and I googled all over for a resolution on this. Here's the problem; I have shared my files to Everyone. From the mac, when I connected to the Windows 7 machine, it only show me the first 13 files and/or directories. It's always truncuated to the first 13 entries. If I go down a directory that has 200 files, it'll only show the first 13 files! I have connected to Windows 7 from my Windows XP laptop and it show everything just fine. I tried it from 2 different Mac Leopard (one hardwired and one over wireless) with the same result. Was thinking there's some weird Samba 2 and/or Samba 3 issues. I did do this: In the right pane near the bottom, double-click "Network security: LAN manager authentication level" Click the drop-down box, and click "Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated" Not much help. Thanks, William Dodd

This late in the development cycle, your best bet is to wait and try the Release Candidate when it is publicly available. Your 'usability testing' will be much more to the point then.Rating posts helps other users Mark L. Ferguson MS-MVP
