I would like to reduce the speed of my 1Gbps network card but cannot change auto negotiation. There are no speed & duplex options other than "auto negotiation." Hi, Please check your NIC card is compatible with Windows 7 or not. And please go to services and verify if the "Network Connections" and the "Computer Browser" services are running and set to Automatic. Update NIC drivers, also update BIOS to the latest version.
