Windows 7 Pro workgroup environment all 64 bit Cannot access the remote registry on the other computers So I started the "REMOTE REGISTRY" service on both computers. Then I ran this netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="Windows Remote Management" new enable=yes on both machines on my computer I now have "REMOTE ADMINISTRATION" in the "allowed programs and features" section of the firewall. But on the other computer I did not get and entry for "REMOIE ADMINISTRTION" I ran the netsh command from a command prompt using run as administrator. I even turned off the firewall but I still get the error that I posted above. What am I missing? Thanks TomThomas R Grassi Jr
