Can no longer connect with my external hard drive.
I started recieving this message while trying to connect to our external hard drive: No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept. We use it to transfer files between our laptop and our desktop. The desktop is the main computer running Windows XP home. The laptop is running Windows 7. It has been working great. Anyone have an idea to what is going on, and how I go about fixing it? Thanks, kbp 1 person needs an answerI do too

Thanks Steve but if what you mean by rebooting is turning off the computer, and turning it on again it didn't work. I have done that manually, and from the start menu. When I start up the computer I get a message that reads, " could not reconnect all nework drivers- One Touch (owner...) (I:) The One Touch I drive is my external hard drive. We are still connected to our desk top, the printer, and the d link. I'm totally lost. Our computer guy set this up for us. Any ideas from anyone? Help! Thanks, kbp
