Can get IE to browse online, new install Vista Beta 2
I've got a new install of Vista Beta 2 on a laptop, either with a wireless or wired connection I can't access the internet with a valid IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS. I can ping and tracert and resolve hosts via DNS but I cannot bring up web pages .This has happened on multiple computers, is it true that Vista doesn't like some Wireless Routers/Access points? You have to disable the Firewall/SPI option in your ISP provider router. If you don't have access to your router configuration no workaround has been found. Roberto Gutierrez ASCORP.
