Can an XP Computer Have 2 Bootable Hard Drives?
My operating system hard drive 0 appears to be failing and ready to crash. I have 2 other hard drives on my computer. I would like to partition one of these 2 driives so that I can install a duplicate operating system (XP Professional) on it and boot up on it if my current operating system hard drive 0 crashes. Will this work?1 person got this answerI do too

maybe just delete online content, clean disk and run defragment several times . keep bailing out the system. maybe some content has lost a title in binary -----------------------------------------------------------hard drives are small and easy to store. The way in which the drives are formatted or documented is a bit crazy and typical for scotts valley ca. The word cylinders is a tip off. There are no cylinders on a hard drive. The defragment program on windows shows a line graph for a circular type memory. In spite of the fact that these drives have a huge capacity they can't be deleted. The amount of storage on even a 1 gb drive is terrifying. Seagate has a number of different plants. They run continuously 24 hours a day.I worked at seagate sputtering in fremont and scotts valley test. The drives then stored only 250 mbytes and had aluminum disks and large record heads. If a new commodore was built with engineers that did not like windows , then you could simply turn on the computer and write a program with line numbers and then type save"name". Then when you wanted to again see the program type in load"name" . Now if the demand for the drives hits a peak with the popular cCommodore or Atari the drives may not be functional due to overtime.
