Can access shared drive on network, but not on VPN
Hi, So, I have an external hard drive on my network that I want to connect to. When I’m on the local network, I can connect just fine through the UNC path "\\name". However, when I’m on the VPN, this doesn’t work. I'm using Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 as my VPN server, and my VPN client is the default Windows 7 Home Premium client. Any ideas?

Make sure that your vpn adapter points to the sam dns server as when you are in the office. Or if you have domain try using FQDN (ServerName.Domain.com)

Hi Brano, I'm new to all of this -- please bear with me. Can you explain a little more what you mean, or link me to a resource that does? Thanks!
