Can a certain Rhode Island hospice be stopped from wire-tapping tech support?
On August 20, 2009, during a live telephone conversation between myself and live operators at the Windows Technical Support number, 1-866-234-6020, I was transferred to a live operator who identified herself as a person located at a company called Home and Hospice Care in Rhode Island. Upon my request, the Rhode Island live operator immediately transferred me back to Windows Technical Support. How would she have transferred me back to Microsoft so quickly without wire-tapping a Microsoft number? One of the Microsoft Technical Support live operators identifying herself as Abby told me that the issue involved spamming, that those customers were using Microsoft products, and that connections or transfers to other companies from Microsoft Customer Service happened "once in a blue moon." Abby told me to send an email to the investigation team at Email removed for privacy regarding cybercrimes and "forward the email to them." In Abby's word, "them," to whom is she referring? Without asking any more questions, I closed the conversation, hung up the phone, and dialed 411 to find out the location of the company, Home and Hospice Care in Rhode Island. According to a live telephone conversation between myself and a live operator at the AT&T Directory Assistance number 411, the business name, address, and telephone number is Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island 02860, (401) 727-7070. Can the wire connection be eliminated?1 person needs an answerI do too
