Can a Win XP Home PC share the internet connection of a Win 7 Pro PC?
Just ordered the last piece for my all new PC, Windows 7 Pro(retail). This machine replaces my flaked-out XP Pro(OEM copy)machine that has been down for some time. I've been using my daughter's PC that I built for her(XP Home OEM). Do REALLY have to upgrade her machine to Win 7 just to have my network back or will they share internet? I've got a lot of money wrapped up in OEM copies of Win XP(Home and Pro) that are tied to motherboards that no longer function and don't want to waste a perfectly good copy to upgrade to 7. Not to mention the cost. Hers is not that powerful either. Please advise.1 person needs an answerI do too
