Can Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation be activated without reinstall

Forgive me if I post in wrong forum.

Can Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation get activated without a legal volume licensing key without reinstall Windows?

If need to reinstall Windows, where I can get the non evaluation iso file?

You are not suppose to do it.

Following the evaluation period, you will need to replace the operating system on your test computer and reinstall all your programs and data. It is not possible to upgrade the evaluation to a licensed working version of Windows 8.1 Enterprise. A clean installation is required.

But if you look hard enough you might find some ways. Honestly i would just start new with the right version right off the bat.

Info taken from here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/evalcenter/hh699156.aspx

you could try  with if you realy want to

slmgr /ipk "legit key" (admin comand promp)

DISM /online /Set-Edition:<Version> /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEULA

Here you go:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Follow the instruction and it will create a media with a windows 8.1 installation.

Hope this help and please mark as answer if this is what you needed.

If you only want to test something why not keep the eval version.

Enterprise edition of windows are downloaded from the VLSC website.

You could always install the pro version and use the Windows Anytime upgrade feature

Upgrade to Windows 8.1 Enterprise (Volume License)

You can upgrade to Windows 8.1 Enterprise (Volume License) from the following operating system editions:
Windows 8 Pro
Windows 8 Pro with Media Center
Windows 8 Enterprise
Windows 8.1 Pro

Got this here but honestly am not 100% sure this would work as i think your windows pro need to be VL to upgrade to vl
