Can Windows 7 Internet Explorer 8 be made to copy/paste files on FTP sites?
This could be done on earlier versions of Internet Explorer, can it also be done on the one which ships with Win7?

Hi, In IE8, you can enable the FTP Windows Explorer view as below: 1. Open the FTP site using IE 8. 2. Click Page -> Open FTP site in Windows Explorer. Then you can copy and paste file if you have permissions from the person who owns the FTP site. I must have made a wrong turn somewhere because the same solution for IE7, also works for IE8: * Enable copy-pasting into FTP sites from Internet Explorer. Enter the following into Notepad and save it as a .reg file, then double click on it > Yes Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_INTERNET_SHELL_FOLDERS] "iexplore.exe"=dword:00000001
