I believe that I am having issues with the awareness ( or lack thereof) of the Network Awareness API. I believe that the API is not capable of allowing two Firewall Profiles to be active when there are two networks active on two NICS. Correct me if I am wrong. When I have two NICS active running thru indepedent and disjointed networks, Vista Firewall applies the Public profile to both connections even though one of the NICShas beenconfiguredas a Private profile. Has anyone been able to have two network connections active, each with their own profile ( one public, one private)tied down and working correctly? Thanks for any assistance.
