Can I still upgrade to Windows 7
I bought my computer for school last summer, and was able to get free upgrade to windows 7 when it came out, however while at school I didn't have my office suite with me so that I could install it after I installed the new operating system. so I have not upgraded my computer yet and I am wondering if I have missed the deadline for this offer or if it still stands.

Contact the OEM or place your purchashed it from to see if they're still offering the free upgrade, even if you've waited this long. I recall OEM's like Dell were promoting this earlier around this time last year, contact the company who sold you the pc to find out. Given what I can find, it looks like it's too late though. Please be clearer. Did you actually obtain the upgrade disk and license? If so, I doubt that there's any time limit on when you can install (and activate) it. If you didn't get the upgrade, it's probably too late to get it for free.

Please check the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) website for the upgrade information. Or, just contact the OEM support directly to confirm if the upgrade time is expired. Also, check this website: Windows 7 Upgrade Option Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
