Can I see different workgroup and domain names in Network Explorer?
I'm new to Windows 7. (skipped Vista) I've searched this forum and others, but can't find a good answer. I'm setting up my first Win 7 Pro computers on my network at work. I have Active Directory on Server 2003 machines as part of a corporate network. I also have a number of computers not joined to the domain that are in several different workgroups. When I open Windows Explorer and explore the Network, I can see almost all of the computers connected to the network, but they aren't seperated into workgroups and domains like they are under Microsoft Windows Network in XP Pro. Is there a way to get Network Explorer to display computers in groups by workgroup or domain name?

Hi, Please understand the network in Windows Explorer will show all devices and computers which are in the same network. It depends on their IP address to see if they are in the same network whatever they are in different or in domain. However, you can right click the blank pane and choose group by workgroup. All computer will catalog by workgroup or domain.
