Can I log in to a PC remotely, without actually RDP-ing?
I am trying to troubleshoot an issue I am having with Zune wireless sync on a PC where I am normally RDP-ed into. It seems like RDP may be an issue, so I wanted to see if there was a way to log in to the PC but not actually remote desktop into the PC.
Is there? I have a second Windows 7 (Ultimate) PC, fyi.

Hi,
There are many tools which released by Microsoft or other third party manufacturer.
You may refer to the following link to check if it helps:

Sabrina,
I have two Windows 7 PC's and no SMS. I open remote desktop on PC2 and go to PC1. I am an administrator on both the PC's.
I want to be able to have a user login to the PC1 from PC2 without actually opening Remote Desktop Connection. Is that possible?

microsoft possible ways are RDP, Remote (SMS,SCCM) and remote assistance( it needs other user help to login).
Non Microsoft and free solution is logmein.com it is free solution for remote access over web. just install the software on the machine and access it across the globe.

Uday,
I just want to have a user logged in. Let's say I have a headless PC (no keyboard, no monitor). How can I stay logged in to the PC but not via remote desktop? Is it the SMS/SCCM and logmein type solution or is there some other way, like "Computer > Manage"
from the other PC?

other than SCCM or logmein type of solution. if you want to acess, you can access specific resource of computer by diferent methods. you can install admin tools and remotelty manage. what exactly you want to access? if you are asking for whole desktop,
then unfortunatley your options are sccm or logmeinThanks Uday Kiran,
