As T. Kujala said, you can install Windows 7 on your Windows 8.1.
Here are a couple of things to be aware of during the installation process.
1.Disbale the fast boot.
2.If you finished the installation for Windows 7,you need to modify the BCD file on Windows 8.1 system.
On Windows 8.1 systemplease perform the following steps:
1).Press Win+x, and click Command Prompt(admin)
2).Type "cmd",and press enter.
3).Type "bcdboot D:\windows /s c: /l en-us" in the CMD.(D=Windows 7 system folder)
4).Reboot the system.
