Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there is any possibility to configure Microsoft account on Windows 8.1 without accessing to an already configured local account.
Hi Umar F.Khan.
If we are the first time to log on the machine after a clean installation, we will give a chance to choose to sign in with a Microsoft account or a local account. We can choose to connect a Microsoft account with an internet connection. This seems to be what we want . However ,the Microsoft account is cached in the machine forever and we can logon with the Microsoft account even though the machine is not connected to the internet .To some degree ,the Microsoft account has been changed to a local account .
If we have created a local account , we will have to logon the machine with a local account to set up the Microsoft account. If we haven`t logon the machine ,where can we set up the Microsoft account ,right ?
Best regards
