Can AutoCAD 2009 (32-bit) and Autodesk REVIT (32-bit) work properly on Windows 7 (64-bit)?
I need a high performance laptop with Windows 7 (32-bit), Quad, 6 GB RAM, I GB video, but have found no manufacturer that makes one. All the high performance laptops are Windows 7 (64-bit) but I do not have any software programs in 64-bit, nor do I expect to need any. I need this to run AutoCAD 2009 (32-bit) and Autodesk REVIT (32-bit) along with all my other 32-bit applications. Will Windows 7 (64-bit) Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, or Windows 7 Ultimate allow me to run all my software applications without problems?

Hi, Most programs designed for a computer running a 32-bit version of Windows will work on a computer running 64-bit versions of Windows. Notable exceptions are many antivirus programs, and some hardware drivers. Here is the detailed information: 32-bit and 64-bit Windows: frequently asked questions I suggest contact the software distributor to confirm it. Hope it helps.Vivian Xing - MSFT
