Can Access the Internet on my Windows Machine but cannot seem to browse to the host machine
I am using Windows 8 and am on a wireless network.  I was able to get the Virtual Switch set up in Hyper-V and I am also able to access the internet. I have Windows 7 on my virtual machine and when I select my computer I do not see my host machine listed.  Any ideas? I followed the instructions in this article to get set up:  blog.credera.com/technology-insights/microsoft-solutions/using-your-windows-8-wireless-connection-inside hyper-v

Do you see the host if you look in File Explorer/Network? If you have set the network things up properly the host should look just like any other machine on your network (you do have a home network?) As Niki asked, have you set up file sharing on both machines? Are they in the same homegroup?
