Can't use wireless on Dell Insprion 600m (Intel 2200bg) with windows 7
I can't get wireless to work on Dell Inspiron 600m (Intel 2200bg) with windows 7 release candidate? I have gone to the Intel website as recommended in earlier forums (http://support.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/pro2200bg/ .) but it always says the download is not available anymore. I have tried downloading other Intel drivers that I could find but no luck. Anybody got a link to a working driver?

Hi,The XP driver is still on the website. Can you try installing the XP driver and see if it works?Jabez Gan [MVP] - http://www.msblog.org Contributing Author for: (Sybex) MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration Study Guide: Exam 70-643

I have the same issue. [Dell 600M]I was able to find a later version on the Dell website that purported to be Vista compatable but no luck.THere were some diagnostics that came with the download which said that the radio was not turned on. I could not find a way to turn the radio on via software. There may be some unknown keyboard combination that turns it on [?]. I have a Latitude 830 that has an external switch for turning the radio on/off.Anyone out there have any ideas?

I finally got it to work. I had to reinstall windows 7 a few times because it seemed like installing driver on top of driver screwed things up.I started with a clean windows 7 install.I then downloaded (either on another computer or connected via ethernet cable), a file called ICS_Dx32 from the intel website.http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1637Select the OS Microsoft Windows XPDownload the ICS_Dx32 file.Install the file and "hopefully" you should be able to now add the wireless information.Good luck. It took me hours of installing windows and different drivers.Under properties, the driver is listed as12/19/20079.0.4.39
