Can't use AntiVirus after A Virus
Hello all, I'm running Professional x86 of Windows 7 on a Dell Vostro 1520. I downloaded a virus on accident yesterday (Deleted) and it has denied me access to Security Essentials, giving me this error: This operation has been cancelled because of restrictions placed on this computer. When I right click and run as administrator, it gives me the same error. Oh, the virus was downloaded to the app data folder, and then inside another folder in which I couldn't see. Even thought show hidden files was enabled. I got to where the virus was by looking at the location using the shortcut on the desktop. Thank you for you moment of time, and thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, I was thinking about that and wasn't sure. I actually had to use my installation disk because it had done something to make my disk read as bad. Thanks for your help.
