Hi. I have formatted my Pc and did a clean install of Windows 8.1 original.

Then i tried to upgrade to Windows 10 from Wupdate and even tought the media creation tool. I obtain the same result: no upgrade after a long process.

My pc do not restart and the installation can't be completed. I reamain in w8.1 and there is this error in chrono of Wupdate: 80004005.

Before performing upgrade, you should make sure you have already installed all updates for Windows.

Since it is fresh install, first run Windows Update and install all updates.

Hi Me1111,

" the media creation tool"
Did you choose the "Upgrade" option or "Create an installation media for another machine"?
In addition to Cyber_Defend_Team`s suggestion, we could try the following suggestions.
1. Unplug all the external devices.
2.Create an Windows 10 installation media with the creation tool (Create an installation media for another machine,"ISO" or "USB boot installation media"). Mount the ISO installation media and choose the "Upgrade" option or boot from the USB installation media.

If the issue persists, please check the setup log (C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther\setup*.log) (Please check show hidden folders option) for more information to troubleshoot this issue. If you have troubles in analyzing the log, please upload them to OneDrive and paste the link here.
