Can't update Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows 7
Windows 7. When I try to update Microsoft Security Essentials, it returns with Error code: 0x80080005. Microsoft Security Essentials wasn't able to access the updates on the server because the authentication failed or the authentication method isn't supported.Connection to the Internet is fine.Windows Update service is NOT running. It is set to Startup Type - Automatic (Delayed Start). When I manually try to start it, I get error 0x8007277a: The requested service provider could not be loaded or initialized.1 person needs an answerI do too
