Can't start a video call more than once in Lync for Mac 2011

4 computers in our organisation are operating Lync for Mac 2011, with the update supplied at installation.
The software was installed in the past week and we are currently testing the software internall and externally.

When testing with the Macs however, we were unable to start or receive video calls more than once on any of the Macs.
The first video call is successful, but any after that give the message "Cannot complete call", followed by the window closing immediately after. We have tried different webcams than the built in options in each Mac - (Macbook Pro and Mac Pro). These tests are all performed internally, so no network differences could be causing this. As well as this, any Windows computer/laptop performing these tests works completely fine, every time.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or is there a fix I can apply to the Macs?

Yes - we are experience something similar at least when bother users are Macs. The audio phone session or video session will work at most once.

The following series of messages are displayed in the chat window before the window rapidly closes:

You missed a call from <person A>

Start Time: 10:00:15 AM; End Time: 10:02:43 AM

<yellow triangle> Cannot complete the call

Strangely the first message implies that person A was the one initiating the case when it was me calling that person.

Audio calls fail to work in the same fashion.

Any resolution on your end?

This test was Mac to Mac although I have seen it fail Mac to PC as well.

The bug seems to be in the Mac Lync client or its local cache/preference files?

UITS has opened a premier support ticket with Microsoft; in the meantime, we request that users not upgrade to this version. To identify which Lync for Mac client version you are running, from the Finder, open the Lync tab and look under "About Lync". If you are running v.14.0.5, we recommend uninstalling Lync altogether, reinstalling v.14.0.4 (available from IUware, and not accepting the update until this issue has been resolved
