Although this matter has never been resolved, I will mark it as answered just to keep the issue from cluttering up the site.Dave

How could it have been resolved? You only waited two minutes to mark it as answered and it will forever be on the forums cluttering it up.What e-mail program are you using? What happens when you try to send a message to yourself with a jpg attached? Please post any error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight and then right click to copy and then paste it into this thread.Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

Thanks for the reply -1. The time shown on messages that show on my comp are completely irrelevant to the actual time, ie, they are totally meaningless. 2. I posted this here to see if the new (? better) system would return any suggestions. Since we beat this to death, with no solution, on MSNewsgroups, including your input as I recall, I decided to move on to a new approach (which at this point is undefined.) 3. I would think (hope) this system would purge messages after some period of time. If it's going to be cluttering up the forum ad infinitum, then better it be marked as closed.I do appreciate your interest.Dave
