Scheduled maintenance tasks but 'puter says "never" in the "Last Time Run"Scheduled tasks don't run (and don't give any warning about not having run) if the user account that is used to create the task does not have a password. If that isn't the problem, open Scheduled Tasks, right click on the task you created, and select Properties. On the "Task" tab, make sure that the task is "Enabled" and is not set to "Run only if logged on."On the "Settings" tab, make sure that neither box under "Idle time" is checked and confirm that the settings under "Power Management" are correct.Close the Properties dialog and again right click on the task you created. Click Run. Does the task you created run and do what you wanted it to do?Finally, click the "Advanced" menu and select "View log." Search in Notepad for the following line and then read upwards to see what's been going on: [ ***** Most recent entry is above this line ***** ]
